Sengkaling recreation park was first established by a Netherlands citizen named Mr. Coolman in 1950 andrun by Mochtar residents of Padang.

Sengkaling recreation park with a land area of the whole 9 hectares, divided into 6 other acres was agarden and lush green trees. These sights with various facilities that has its own advantages compared to other tourist attractions.
